HINE-AHU-ONE High School Bag
Design Inspiration
Hine-Ahu-One: This bag honours Hine-ahu-one, the first woman in Māori mythology, who was formed from the clay at Kurawaka. Her name translates to "earth-formed woman."
Kōwhaiwhai Patterns: This design features kōwhaiwhai, which reflect her mana (prestige), strength, and the whakapapa (lineage) that connects people to the whenua (land).
Functional Features
Material: Crafted from premium tan vegan (PU) leather with a plush striped polyester lining inside.
Practical Storage: Designed to fit A4 documents, diaries, and folders comfortably.
Tech-Ready: Includes two padded interior compartments to protect a laptop (up to 16") or tablet, with a velcro strap for security.
Organisation: A smaller secure exterior pocket for quick-access items like keys or a phone. A main compartment for larger essentials.
Portability: Comes with an extendable, comfortable shoulder strap and a sturdy top carry handle for "grab and go" convenience.
