HINE-URI High School Bag
Design Inspiration
Hine-Uri: The bag is named after Hine-Uri, a figure in te ao Māori associated with mystery, resilience, and the moon in its dark phase.
Visual Elements: It features deep tones and traditional tāniko patterns. These patterns are described as weaving together pūrākau (stories), serving as a bridge that connects the tales of the past to future generations.
Functional Features
Material: Made from premium vegan (PU) leather with a plush striped polyester interior lining.
Capacity: Specifically designed to fit A4 documents, diaries, and folders.
Tech Storage: Includes two padded interior compartments specifically for a laptop (fits up to 16") or tablet, secured with a velcro strap.
Accessibility: Features a smaller secure exterior pocket for easy access to essentials, a carry handle for "grab and go" use, and an extendable shoulder strap.
Closure: Uses two magnetic clasps to secure the folding top.
Dimensions: Approximately 37cm (width) x 31cm (height).
